Salad Recipe...

(Moving to recipes..)

When I bring salad to a bbq or party the bowl's always cleaned out, so here's my method:

Large bowl
1-2 heads red leaf, chopped (depending on size available)
1 big handfull of spring mix or baby spinach
1 cucumber, diced thin, I usually leave half the skin on in strips.
2 big tomatoes, wedged
Handful of large basil leaves, chopped fine (get a plant)
2-3 fat cloves of garlic, minced or mashed
2 T olive oil (est.)
2 T of red wine vinegar (est.)
Dash of Italian Seasoning
1-2 avocados cubed
2 T shredded Pecorino Romano
Sea Salt & Ground Pepper

Toss well.
You can add anything else you want like green peppers or onions if that's your thing.
The garlic will stand out, but raw garlic is so good for you it's worth it.
