Withings Pulse Not Syncing Calories

Hi Forum,
I have a new Withings Pulse O2.
If I turn it into Negative calorie mode (so that it subtracts) calories from my total for the day it works.
But if I turn negative off so that (i believe) it should add my burnt calories to the app as I can actually consume more as I've worked harder, it always remains at 0. Even after the next day and after manual syncs.
Is anyone else having this issue or know a workaround to add positive calories to the app (other than quick add), or can someone help me if I'm doing something stupid!?
Cheers!

Assuming everything is connected properly - the conclusion is that you are not burning as many calories according to the Withings device as MFP expects you to, based on your stats & stated activity level.
When you have negative enabled, does it EVER end the day with a positive adjustment? OR only negative?
Here is how it works:
I tell MFP I'm 5'5.5", 125 pounds, want to maintain my weight, female and I'm lightly active. MFP says I should burn 1750 a day based on that. So MFP tells me to eat 1750 (maintenance, so no deficit.)
I use a fitness tracker, and it estimates how many I actually burn. If below 1750, I do not earn extra calories. I must burn more than 1750 in a day to get extra. More than MFP projected.
During the day when I sync, MFP takes the info from my tracker and calculates 'if you've burned 824 as of noon, you're on track to burn 1700 today so adjustment is 0.' I know I need to move more. Which is normal for me as I work a desk job, and get much of my activity in during the evening hours.

Ah I see, so I only get 'extra' if I've actually burnt more than my maintenance weight. Not just because i've burnt N calories by just doing stuff, that's just part of my normal daily calorie burn by being alive.

Its not based on maintenance calories - its based on what you burn (according to the device) compared to what MFP expected you to burn. So its based on your MFP settings. If MFP is set to sedentary and you always get a big lot of extra calories from your tracker, it means you're more active than you think. If you have MFP set to very active and you don't ever get extra calories, it means you might not be right to claim 'very active'. In that case, seeing the 'negative calories' will give you an idea of how far off you are. Small amount, insignificant perhaps. But if its a large amount: you may want to adjust your intake amount downward to match your actual activity level.
People without a tracker: have to estimate their activity level. If they estimate wrong they don't really know. With the activity tracker, you get feedback on your actual activity level.0
