I'm really struggling to put all my food in because I know that I will never make my goal... It's so hard to work out and I have no idea what to do. :(

You'll never make your goal? If you think that then you're right. Weight loss is hard. If it wasn't, everyone would be exactly the weight they wanted to be. You don't need to exercise to lose weight but it does improve your health and fitness plus it gives you more wiggle room to eat what you like while still losing weight. If you don't want to exercise, then don't, no guilt.

However, not logging what you're eating will make losing weight much more difficult for you. You can certainly give it a go without logging and hope you're eating less calories than you're burning but you probably won't see the results you want to see.

    Here's a newbie help post.
It has links to useful things like sexypants (go read that _now_), accurate measuring & logging of food, setting realistic goals (weight, calories, macros), motivation, the basics of exercise, etc.

If you're down because you think "I have so much to lose, that's impossible, I'll never get there"
    STOP IT RIGHT NOW.
If you keep thinking that way, you'll be right.
If you don't change anything, you'll keep being the same as you are now.
If you take little steps, make small consistent changes and just keep plugging along eating a bit less than your body needs, you will eventually lose weight. It might take a year, or three, but you'll get there.
I have someone on my friends list who lost 125 lb, and she started in her 60's.

Look 5 lb ahead. Anyone can lose 5 lb. When you get there, go buy some fun socks or have your nails done and aim for the next 5 lb. Success is a great motivator.

When I started, I made a list with a line for every 5 lb I'm going to lose, a line for every time I drop a BMI point, notes showing when I dropped out of 'obese' into 'overweight', and when I'll finally get into 'healthy'. As I hit those goals, I write in the date.
I love looking back, I love my ticker (it's still amazing to me that I've actually lost almost 80 lb!!!).

"Most weight loss occurs because of decreased caloric intake.
However, evidence shows the only way to maintain weight loss is to be engaged in regular physical activity."
