Hello,
I just got a nutrition scale and I have a question about weighing food, primarily meat products. Should I be weighing my meat while it is raw, or after it is cooked?

Usually if it came with a label raw. If not you can weigh either way but, you have to pick the right entry for cooked. Almost all my meat is weighed raw except my breakfast sausage because it is labeled for cooked weight.

It should be measured raw. It's easy if its just you because you can measure what your going to cook and eat. If cook for 2 and for multiple meal prep. I will weigh it all raw and then again cooked. It will weigh less so just do the math on how much your meat lost. Then just add that percentage to the amount of cooked meat your eat.0

I weigh most of my meats raw because I enter everything into the recipe builder prior to cooking.
Weigh your meat however you plan to log it.0
