So you guys can better answer my question let me tell you a little bit about myself and my situAtion. 2 months ago I started the nutrisystem diet wanting to go from 230lbs to 170lbs. The lAst time I weighed around 170 I was probAbly 19 or so. I am 30 now. My question is this....so far in two months I have lost 17lbs. I am now down to 213. The funny thing is I swear I look in the mirror like I did years and years ago when I weighed around 200 or so. Basically when and if I get down to 170 I think I will be thinner than I was before at that time. It's like I'm heavier now than when I was younger like more dense. The weird thing is back then I was really really into bodybuilding and was in phenomenal shape. So I'm not thinking it's muscle unless you naturally just get muscles when you age. Maybe the old man muscles and strength I used to hear about lol. Basically to sum it up my goal was to get down to 170. Now that I'm my current weifht of 213 I feel like 170 will be too much and if I get down to 180 or 190 it will be like the old me at 170 if that makes sense. I haven't been lifting either. Why does my body look better at higher weights than it did in my teens? My first guess would be more muscle now since muscle is more dense but the thing is back then I was a competitve powerlifter and not trying to sound cocky but I was in great shape and was ripped. I haven't lifted a single weight prior to this diet in over 3 yr and even then it was only me working out consistently for maybe six months. Before that it was 8 yr or so before I picked up a weight Any ideas out there??
