Eat at a deficit, do an exercise you love. It won't necessarily slow down weight loss to do the same thing, but if that's all you do, your body could get more efficient at it and burn less calories, I think. But that would be way down the line. At the beginning, something is better than nothing.0

For weight loss you need to consider being at a deficit from what you eat first as its much easier to not eat soemthing than it is to burn the same amount. Assuming you are weighing and logging your food, then you can consider exercise. Exercise for cardio will involve two things duration and intensity. Keep a ecord so you can chart your progress.
1. Keep a record of distances and time so you cna track progress.
2. Try and push yourself, sensibly to improve your times. You will know when you are coasting and when you are having a decent workout.
3. The impact a 15 minute session will have, unless its hiit, tabata or at a serious intensity is not going to be massive because its not long enough to burn that many calories. You are talking c 100-200 calories each session and you need to have a deficit of 3500 to lose 1lb.
Every bit helps.0
