New to MFP....looking to shed 40lbs in 20 weeks.

Good morning. New to MFP.

Why am I here? Well, I used to be pretty active. Then along came our baby boy. I stopped going to the gym during my wife's 8th or 9th month of pregnancy. Here I am 7 months after the birth of our boy and I have gained 20 lbs.

I am 5'7. Starting weight 216.5. My goal weight in 20 weeks is 175lbs. Little over 2 lbs a week.

Exercise is nothing new to me. FINDING THE TIME NOW is!!! My strategy is to get my cardio back during the first 30 days by running at least 20-30 mins a day. After 30 days I will introduce weights and keep steady with the cardio.

I hope to have a success story come September 1st and that I have met my goal weight.
