So I have now read too many things here about how MFP might not accurately calculate or recalculate calories to consume per day.

I originally set my amount based on googling 20 or so different online sites, inputting my info then dropping the highest two amounts and the lowest two amounts, then took an average of the remaining 16.

What do you feel is the best tool or website to use to come up with a good number to plug into MFP?

Thanks.

I like scoobys, but I don't feel its that far off from MFP if you understand how they compare.

The thing about calculators is they are only an estimate and only as good as the information you can put into them.

I say don't stress so much about the math, you have an idea of what you need, log as accurately as possible and track the results. If you are losing too fast or too slow then adjust accordingly.

THANK YOU!!!!! Just checked it out. That is the best site I have ever seen for it, and I was really happy with the number that it spit out.

MFP is right in line with what Scooby subbested.
