I would try the apple spice cauliflower cupcake but I have also tried garlic ice cream. (It wasn't terrible but not something I'd choose over more traditional flavors)

I'm getting beet and goat cheese ice cream for lunch. Never had it before but I've heard good things; no harm in trying something different.

Dear God, please let this be an April Fool's thing.

If you want a cupcake, eat a freakin' cupcake!

    It is a freakin' cupcake.
It has just as much sugar and flour as a regular cupcake. It just also has cauliflower puree mixed in. I assume to make it "healthy".

Duh. That's why it says cupcake and not, say, smoothie or omelet.

Which makes the post to which I replied odd, don't you think?

On this website? No. People get pretty arbitrary about what they consider 'real'.

Pizza on a tortilla if cauliflower crust? Not real pizza.

Food from Little Debbie? Not real food.

You do squats and lunges while you do your laundry? Not a real workout.

Cupcake with a little cauliflower? Not a real cupcake.

I made Black Bean Brownies the other day and they turned out amaaaaazing, so even though Cauliflower Cupcakes sounds like cupcake sacrilege, I'd be willing to give them a shot.

For anyone interested in how Black Bean Brownies could even work, here's a few recipes :)

I've had tuna brownies before - NASTY. I dont get the "healthy" baked goods....I'd rather never have brownies again than eat another tuna brownie. (Not saying that i never eat brownies - i do....but if I had to choose....Id never eat one again to avoid a "healthy" one).

    But they count as water.

THought it was an April Fools recipe... apparently its a "thing".. somewhere.... Forgive I am still traumatized from watching the Travel channel where the people put live fish in their soup and eat them still squiggling....Cauliflower anything seems better than that

    Is that cream cheese icing?

    If so, I'd try it.

    Your husband would LOVE it!!!
