I know it difficult to account for a myriad of exercise machines for calorie count. However, allow those of us who have the means of knowing the calories we expend in varous excercis session to enter the calorie count you do in food that is diffiuclt to be exact about. A column which allows us to enter the excercise calories will result in better monitoring of food intake and calories expended. This surely is not a difficult tweak to accomodate in your ap. Thanks.

What are you using to know the calories burned?

The Koko Fit program I use gives you calories and time expended for a workout, but isn't in the MFP cardio or weight programs. I entered mine as the summation of both under "Add new exercise" with the name "Kokofit Smart training system" in cardiovascular for simplicity sake. Then I enter time and calories for the day and it credits the food totals for the day.

Unless you are hooked to a cart full of lab machines, what any program gives you is an approximation.

I am not sure what you are exactly asking for.

If you are asking for an option to add exercise Calories earned directly into your Food Diary, I doubt that would be an option for consideration.

The Food Diary is the place to log Calories consumed; whereas the Cardiovascular section of the Exercise Diary is the place to enter Calories earned. You can add a custom exercise to your Exercise Diary by following the instructions from this article on the MFP Help pages.

The Calories entered into the Cardiovascular section of your Exercise Diary for a specific date will automatically be added to the Calorie goals of your Food Diary for that specific date, distributed to your Carbs, Fats, and Protein goals (in grams) according to the percentages you have defined when you originally set up or subsequently updated your nutritional goals.
