Okay so I lost weight and got to 113 lbs (im 5 7 with a small frame...really narrow hips, tiny wrists) and was finally feeling good about myself. Went up to 118 over xmas, went back down to 115...then back to 118 over easter....down to 116 and now i keep hovering between 117-119. I feel like the weight just won't come off for an extended period of time, no matter what I do. Over christmas and easter break when I was home, I probably had around 2,000 calories a day, which is why my weight went up, but now I'm at about 1300, so technically shouldn't it go down? I workout about 3 days a week and my jobs require that I stand for 6-9 hours a day. I also eat a diet rich in fruit, veggies, and a small amount of lean protein (hard for me to digest). I don't eat a lot of fatty food either. what is going on? should i just accept my weight? most of the gain was in my stomach and a tiny amount in my legs btw. thanks all!

I'm 5'6" and 115 . When I was two pounds lighter I was considered underweight. I'm assuming that puts you at the lower end of the "healthy" range for your height, if not underweight already. It's normal for weight to fluctuate a few pounds. Maybe you should try to focus on strength training if you're unhappy with how your body looks. It's probably a lack of tone that's bugging you more than excess fat. I understand your frustration, but I am much more sane and happy since I've stopped putting so much emphasis on the scale and more on my measurements.0

Throw the scale away. You're obsessing over really small fluctuations in your weight. if you're hovering at 118... fine. That's on the low end of healthy for someone who's 5'7". Let it ride, find other things in life to think about.0 -
Don't worry about it small differences like that don't even show on your body0

^ This. At 5'7" you do not need to be under 118. If you don't like your shape then that is a matter of doing some strength training, no losing weight.0 -
