What do I do when I hit plateau? So far I have lost 27 pounds thanks to MyfitnessPal.com!
I only recently started exercising 4 times a week for 20 minutes. My weight# hasn't changed in a month but I feel like my clothes are fitting better.
Do I have to eat less? I can't, I finally got my routine! Any advice??
Thanks!
Marci

If your clothes are fitting better - you are probably still losing inches, which means you are not in a plateau.

Push on through, make sure you're weighing and logging your food diligently and honestly. Typically when people think they have hit a plateau they really just got lazy with their logging. Also, with new exercise comes water retention, drink plenty of water and be patient.

Tighten up your logging. Make sure you record everything, including oils cooked with. If you aren't using a food scale to weigh things, it may be a good idea to invest in one.

If you recently started exercise that can cause water/glycogen stores to make it look like you aren't losing when you really are....and as mentioned if clothes are fitting better sounds like inches are going.

So keep at it and make sure you weigh yourself after a day or two of rest (no exercise) and drink lots of water and continue logging accurately and consistently.

As well if you are logging your exercise here and eating back all the calories try only 75% of them...if you aren't eating them back...start.
