Under my nutrition goals, what should the percentage of fat, carbs and protein be per day? Please don't give me your "opinion" I am looking for facts.

there are no "facts" because it should be tailored to the individual if the individual even wants to monitor macronutrients.

Because I lift weights, I go by the minimum of 0.8x my weight in lbs for minimum protein goals (125 grams) and 0.4x my weight in lbs for minimum fat goals (65 grams - 0.3xlbs is the absolute minimum recommended, though). The rest are carbs.

And I view ratios/percentages as being completely useless.

So... just set them ina way that leads to easy diet compliance.

If you only want facts, this will be a short thread cause there isn't any when using percentages in my opinion. Hit protein and fats as Ana stated, and fill the rest with carbs.

Thanks for the feedback! I know it's all individualized and will adjust as I go along. Was just looking for a starting point or goal to plug in. Got it

I am a little confused. If you are under your nutrition goals I am guessing you mean the "women are recommended to eat X grams of protein a day" guidelines? If you want to adjust your macros to fit that then go to HOME - GOALS- select to change goals, select the manual option. This page will allow you to adjust your percentages for your macros within your calorie goal to fit your nutrition needs. (you can change the percent in to drop down and you have to actually hit save to see the numbers change if I remember right)

Keep in mind that calories come from your macros (fat=9 cal/gram, protein and carbs are 4 cal/gram) so if you are hitting your calorie goal and not your macros this may be a sign you are selecting entries with incorrect macros listed.

As already said above, the percentages can vary depending on your calorie goal and other personal goals. If you want to make sure you are getting 70g or protein (this is just some arbitraty number for an example, not a suggestion) then that would be 19% for someone with a 1500 calorie goal, but 14% for someone with a 2000 calorie goal.
