Am currently lifting at the moment but I do want to loose weight too so I'm looking for an full body HIIT routine to do in the gym. Does anyone have any ideas please??

Looks like you're doing a really good job already. Remember the key to weigh loss is in your nutrition, exercise just helps augment it.

From a conditioning perspective there are some good and FREE HIIT programs on YouTube on a channel called "Fitness Blender". ;)

I was a fan of doing my HIIT in the swimming pool. I would swim (front crawl) one length - 25 meters - and then wade back one length. Sometimes I would jog/wade to the start. Repeat 10 or 12 times. Swimming is easier on my body when doing HIIT. There was too much strain/stress on my knees if I pedaled a bike or ran on a treadmill. I have taken a break from HIIT for now but I liked doing it once a week.

I see a lot of people doing burpee HIIT.

Does your gym have Les Mills GRIT? Best HIIT ever.

It's a group HIIT class. Whenever I workout in a group I feel obligated to finish and push myself even when I want to give up. Or, if it's available to you, you could try it, get ideas, and so them on your own. I learned a lot from the Les Mills BodyPump class!

My favorite HIIT is sprinting, since I find machines get in the way of me going as fast/hard as I can, especially during the acceleration parts at the beginning and end of the interval.

I am sure there is a trainer you can ask at the Gym. Check out You Tube.

I do sprint HIIT too. Run 6.9 for 3 minutes, 7.3 for 1 minute. Rest for 1 minute. Repeat 3x. I'm short, you may be able to run faster.

In gym the PT told me to slow jog for a min which mine is 6.5 then sprint for 30 seconds 11.5 repeat x 5 which kills me ha ha but burns so many cals ha ha x

The easiest one I find is to skip between sets. If I'm doing shoulders, I'll do a set of 12, skip for a minute, another set, skip and another set without stopping. The only rest is preparing for the next shoulder exercise. I plan out what I'm doing shoulder wise and have everything mapped out so I'm not having my heart rate lower too much. A skipping rope is cheap to buy or they usually have them at a gym. You could substitute any plyo in place of skipping....do burpees in between sets or medicine ball jumps (hold an 8lb medicine ball and squat touching it to the floor and then jump explosively while pushing it overhead and land in a squat with ball tapped to the floor and keep repeating for a count of 20). Before long you'll be sucking air.
