Anyone else love the Smashing Pumpkins?

Recently discovered their music and I'm just completely in love with them. Currently playing Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness on repeat all day every day. I really feel a connection with Billy Corgan's lyrics - such a genius.

I'll listen to anything up to Machina... anything past 2007 is really bad. There was some decent songs on Oceania but like otherwise...

Reminds me of my stoning days back in the early to mid 90's. Still working on a time machine to take me back to that time

Ahh, I've only really listened to their old stuff so far. Most artists have their prime though I guess.

Not so much anymore, but they were my first concert when I was 10 years old, and I was obsessed back then!

That must've been incredible! Seeing your absolute favourite artists perform live is indescribable.

Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage.

I listened to them a lot when I was in high school. Not so much anymore.

Love that line so much. Radiohead's line "a pig in a cage on antibiotics" on OK Computer reminds me of it (if you've ever listened to that).

Haha I think I'm going through that same phase now.

Yes. Saw them live for tours: Siamese Dream at the Boathouse, Melachony of Infinite Sadness at the Cap Center, Adore at Constitution Hall. <3

Used to do that when I was younger. On Halloween. We also used to set a bag of shlt on fire and ring the doorbell and run. Outgrew all those types of pranks now though.
