What motivates me...

I do not post much on the forums, but I'm always lurking trying to learn new things.
I weigh myself almost everyday. It helps me stay on track. I understand the fluctuations and don't get upset if I "gain" weight from one day to the next. I think one of the reasons I gained back so much last year was because I stopped weighing myself. That scale helps me hold myself accountable as to what and how much I'm eating.
This morning my finance saw me weighing myself before I stepped into the shower. When I got out, he asked me how much I weighed. When I told him he looked at me and said "Where?? I don't see it". We have known each other for 15 years so he has seen me at my absolute biggest and continues to tell me I was just as beautiful then as I am now. He is afraid that I'll get "too skinny", but is still willing to support me no matter what my ultimate goal is.
So far I have felt my best at my lowest weight to date, which was 150. I do think I am going to shoot for an ultimate goal of 140, but I'm not sure. I am closing in on the sub 160 mark again. The closer I get to 160, the better I'm starting to feel again. I also remember how great I felt as I got closer to 150.
Not only do I feel better physically, but I'm feeling so much better about myself. Ultimately THAT is what matters THAT is what is important...how we feel about ourselves!!
