T.O.M. question...

Ok first please forgive my ignorance but my "TOM" has never been anywhere near normal and so I haven't had one sense before starting to try and loose weight 3 months ago. (I have an apt to see a GYN next friday but I guess I don't need it now?)
Anyway I hit a plateau 4 weeks ago and have tried many things to get past it, last of which is I've been on maintenance for the last 6 days. Still working out just not cutting calories. My weight stayed the same within about 1/2 pound this week but when I measured myself this morning my waiste was 2 inches LARGER and my bust was 1/2 inch Smaller which made no sense to me sense I had not gained. Then this afternoon I "Started".
So basically i guess My question is when you have bloating due to TOM how much is normal to bloat? is 2 inches normal or is that from something else?

Some poeple bloat a lot and some don't bloat at all. It may depend on your water and sodium intake. Don't worry about it!0

I'd say it varies depending on the person. I sometimes feel like I've gone up a size in clothing but weight hasn't changed. I don't measure though so I don't know if I gained inches or just felt like it. Give it a couple days and measure again once T.O.M. goes away.0

2 inches is definitely normal. I was 0.5-2" larger almost everywhere a couple days after TOM left... Don't be worried! It's water. CHUUUUUG a ton of water.0
