How do I stay on track? There's going to be cocktail drinking and meals out etc.....

    Well if you know where you plan on eating out then pre plan, look up the nutrition facts before hand and have your order picked out when you walk in the door. If not, just do your best to be smart. Typically you would think order a salad right? I will tell you along the way i have learned that restaurant salads are actually usually deceptively high in calories. Often times more than ordering the cheeseburger and fries, which depending on you you might enjoy more? My best strategy for most restaurants is actually to order steak with veggies on the side. Unless they do some crazy dress up the steak with all sorts of sauces thing it is usually pretty calorie appropriate for my goal, I like steak so yummy to me, and filling.

    I don't really drink so I don't have much advice on cocktails, hopefully someone will weigh in on that.
