Cream of Wheat

my wife and I made cream of wheat for dinner last night after being lazy and found that there was a lot of calories and very little nutrition ugh

    well.......dont make it again then? try oatmeal? add some fruit and flax if u happen to like hot cereal

    This is why I like this app it tells me a lot of stuff I was or am eating is junk and does nothing. Lol :)

    Yeah I gave it up for similar reasons, so I feel your pain. I figure it's ok as a once in a blue moon treat though, especially if I can cut the cals by using skim milk, and use stevia instead of sugar to sweeten.

    Try oat bran- it's the same consistency as cream of wheat and less cals

    Ok thanks . Ive been trying to learn what foods are good for me and which ones that dont help me at all.

    I mix cream of wheat and oatmeal together. I got cases of Cream of Wheat for free!

    It's just wheat, what did you expect :p

    Maybe you will find polenta better suited to your needs. I eat it as often as I can <3
