Energy Drinks

I'm working on cutting down my severe Monster addiction. I've gone from 2-3 a day to one every other day. Is anyone else dealing with this? I've "trained" myself to like the zero calorie & zero sugar ones because I figure those are better than the regular ones (that sounds pathetic, ha!) But anyway, I just can't seem to break the craving. There was one time I went a week without them because they aren't cheap and I was just really behind with money that week, and I wanted to kill everything in my path!

I drink about 3 Zero monster ultra per week... not a problem....I just try to fit it into my sodium goal cuz that's the only thing in which it is high. Didnt alter my weight loss so far0

If you have an addiction, seek professional help.
Otherwise, either drink them or don't. The choice is yours.0 -
Am I dealing with it currently ? no. Have I delt with it in the past ? Yes
My solution was I just stopped drinking them. If I want some caffeine I have tea or coffee. But I no longer rely on it on a daily bases.0 -
Why don't you try a preworkout instead of an energy drink. I'm taking Haymaker powder right now it taste good , and has 500mg of caffeine in it per one scoop. It wakes me up . Or try weight loss pills most you take one in the morning and afternoon but they wake you up and not only are they not fattening but they help you burn fat as well and your still getting the energy addiction part0

I had the addiction as well, like 2 or 3 a day. What I did was switch to diet soda. Once I craved only diet soda and not the monsters any more I switched to caffein pills and seltzer water. From seltzer water, I switched to regular water with some lemon juice. As for the caffein pills, I still take one of those in the morning instead of coffee. I've weaned off of those too, just take 3/4 of a pill for a week, 1/2 a pill for the next week and so on. You can wean off of them with no side effects whatsoever. I go back on them when I need the boost, and they're not nearly as addicting.0

They taste like yak piss. They make you high for about 30 minutes and then you feel terrible for the rest of the day.

I like Yak butter but would be hesitant to try yak piss. Dare we ask what inspired you to drink yak piss ? lol
