Hey everyone. I pack a healthy lunch every day to work. What are some good and healthy snack ideas?

Define "healthy." I normally go for high protein snacks to keep me from getting hungry. Here are some basic snack suggestions:

    Greek yogurt
    Cottage cheese
    String cheese/Babybel cheese
    Protein shake or bar
    Boiled eggs

Then there's your fruit and vegetables. Baby carrots and hummus if you're into that - I'm not. Apple, banana, strawberries, grapes, etc. Celery with peanut butter.

If you want something really carb-y, I'd probably go with dry cereal or an English muffin with cream cheese or peanut butter on it.

    The possibilities are endless.

I like celery and I premeasure out some peanut butter to put on it. Rice crackers if you like and can eat them, dehydrated fruit which can be pricey but tasty, cottage cheese or yogurt, cheese, smaller portion of whatever you like eating!

    my favorite snacks (healthy IMO):
-string cheese with a serving of nuts or sunflower seeds
-banana or apple with peanut butter on it
-popcorn (love the smart foods cheddar packs)
-the nutrigrain apple cinnamond bars with a little bit of peanut butter on them taste like freaking dessert!
    - old wisconson sausage sticks (kinda like jerkey but a cheaper option I have found that I like)
    - I have made ground turkey parmisean meatballs that were good, about 50 cals each so they were a really handy little protein snack

String cheese, mandarin oranges (e.g. Cuties or Halos), grapes, those little boxes of raisins.

Here are some of my favroites...
-Greek yogurt (or regular if you prefer) with 1 Tbsp. granola mixed in
    - An apple or banana with 1 Tbsp. almond or peanut butter
    - 2 Rice Cakes topped with 1 Tbsp. peanut butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon
    - 1/2-1 cup cereal (go for one high in fiber and low in sugar!) with 1 cup almond milk
    - A premade fruit smoothie (google recipes, so many good ones out there!) that you freeze and grab in the morning. It will thaw by the time you are ready for it!
    - A string cheese with 1 serving whole wheat crackers
    - 2 cups of butter free air popped popcorn
    - Carrot and celery sticks dipped in 2 Tbsp. Hummus
    - Protein bars (Quest brand are my favorite! For 180 calories you get 23 g protein and only 3 g net carbs and 3 g sugar!)
    - Fresh fruit salad that you premake. I like to include strawberries, melons, pineapple, and blueberries, but you can really put whatever you like!
    - 1/4 cup of any kind of raw and unsalted nut of your choice
    - 1 serving whole grain crackers with salsa, guacamole, or hummus
    - Cottage cheese with strawberries or pineapple mixed in
    - 3 slices of lunch meat wrapped around hummus or low fat cheese like little snack roll-ups
    - A hard boiled egg (you can premake a whole batch of them for whenever you need a grab and go snack!)
    - Celery sticks with 1 Tbsp. peanut or almond butter and a couple raisins topping each one
    - One KIND brand granola/protein bar
    - Sugar snap peas or baked green beans
    - Grapes!
    - Quakers mini quakes bite size rice cakes. The caramel and chocolate and apple cinnamon ones are all so yummy!

As you can see, I love love love snacking! :) Hope you found some good ideas in this list that you can try! :)
