    I take zinc and vitamin C as well as Omega 3's. I don't take the Omega 3-6-9's because our diet already has lots of omega 6's with nuts and grain-fed meats. You don't want your 6-9 ratio to be more than 4:1. Omega 9's are not essential fatty acids and our body can produce them on our own, plus they're also found in olive oil. So supplementing what your body lacks is key. Minimum of 6g 3's in 2-3 doses of 2-3g works well keeping the fats ratios even.

    Eating "healthy" and eating "enough" aren't the same thing. If you're calorie restricted, you might need a little supplementation. Vitamin D is made when sunlight hits the skin, so if you spend time outdoors regularly, you don't need pills.
