At my heaviest I weighed 311 lbs. I was miserable. I had type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure and had just had a kidney transplant. This was in July 2014. In August 2014 I had gastic sleeve surgery. At my follow up appointment yesterday I weighed 214 lbs. I have lost a tremendous amount of weight but I have also slipped from my diet program. I should only be eating 600 calories a day (60 grms of protein), until i reach my goal weight of 200. Then I will go on a lifetime maintenance program and be allowed more caloties. I found myself snacking when I wasnt really hungry. I think just because I missed the taste of different foods. Peanuts were the worst. I love them. So my doctor told me yesterday that I need to buckle down and get back on track. I know what I need to do, I just back slid a bit. I really want to make and maintain my goal. I could use encoragement from folks in the same boat i'm in. Thanks.
