1200 cal diet and Protein

How much protein should someone be getting if on a 1200 calorie diet, and exercising?

You should aim for 1 gram per pound of LBM, as a general rule. It is also going to depend on your goals. I have my macros set to 40/30/30, but I usually end up higher on carbs, lower on the other two, but I do get around 95 grams of protein per day, sometimes more, sometimes a bit less. In the interest of full disclosure, I eat closer to 1600 than 1200, though. When I was first losing a few years ago, I generally sat around 1350 and got around 80 or 90 grams, I believe.0
