Weightless Question

I'm having a bit trouble understanding this. So my calorie goal is 1600 and if I burn (for example) 200 calories, it says I can eat those calories back. can I do that and still lose weight?

In theory, yes. However, mfp has a tenancy to overestimate the amount of calories burned through exercise. It's really hard to accurately calculate exactly how many calories you burn from activity. Most people eat about half of their exercise calories back to be on the safe side.0

Remember when MFP was calculating your goals and asked for your current weight, goal weight, etc and then asked how much you wanted to lose per week?
Well simply consuming 1600 calories will get you to lose that amount that you entered! It's already calculated.
So, you can burn calories through exercise to either have more to eat, or use it to lose the weight quicker0 -
I actually use endomondo and eat all my calories back, and still lose weight.0

Endomondo was way overestimating for me so I had to stop using it.0
