Shin Splints...:(

I have suffered with shin splints for almost a year now, i run 8-10k every monday and no matter how much i prepare beforehand i spend the rest of the week in pain.

I used to visit a physio, tried ultrasound therapy, acupuncture, deep massage, kinesiology tape, compression socks, ice treatment, shin strengthening exercises, i have decent running shoes...i'm at a loss and all these treatments + pain killers is getting expensive...and advice welcome! Thanks
