I don't have any tips about atkins but have lost 1 stone so far just calorie counting and exercise. I eat plenty of carbs.

    Two words:

    Zucchini Noodles

Replace your pastas with zucchini. It has the same texture if cooked right and gives a little bit more flavor than normal pasta actually. Even though cheese is an easy no-carb option for snacking, I love almonds or sunflower seeds. I typically make taco salads (just no chips) and I easily find low-carb tortillas (usually net carbs are 6g which is completely find for even the induction period). Breakfast will basically always include eggs. I replace my "fries" options at restaurants and at home with brocolli with melted cheese sauce on top.

I love using that low-carb tortilla as a crust when I make my own pizza although the sauce can sometimes be higher in calories, you just need to find the best items with lower carbs. Pepperoni slices can also be a replacement for chips. I typically just try to avoid snacks because my problem is making a snack a second meal.

There are also lots of restaurants and fast food places that you can order special to meet your low/no-carb diet needs. Jimmy Johns does amazing "unwhiches", Carl Jrs/Hardees does lettuce-wrapped hamburgers and most places allow you to order a burger without the bun. Avoid ketchup though.

I also subconsiously believe in the "all-or-nothing" motto for some reason. Once I have a small taste of candy or pasta/bread/grains, I will just keep eating it so try to refuse the smallests of tastes especially when you first start because the cravings are legit. Just keep remining yourself it will be so worth it in the end!

I do reccomend working out just because I always have and I do see results quickly.
