Hi All,

Was hoping someone could help me out please? A while back (may really have been quite a while back) there seemed to be a phase of people posting recipes for peanut butter and banana biscuit ball things, mostly with the sugar substituted by Splenda or similar to make them as low calorie as possible. I've been going back through this forum and can't seem to find them (although i could just be missing them) and i've been looking online but all i can find are recipes which are either not low-cal or have really poor ratings.

So i was wondering if anyone knew the recipes i was talking about and might be able to provide me with a link or something to a decent, low cal recipe? I've been wanting to try these for ages, and i tried without a recipe and it was a disaster! Many thanks for any replies :)

I don't remember the one you saw, but found this one (posted in March)

They were called: Peanut Butter Oatmeal Protein Balls

1/2 cup dry oatmeal (quaker quick oats)
1.5 T NATURAL crunchy peanut butter
1.5 scoops vanilla protein mix (I use Allmax Iso Flex - 30 grams per scoop)
1 packet of splenda (if you want)

mix the above ingredients. I add either very little water (just enough to make it stick together like peanut butter coookie dough) OR i use 1 tablespoon of peanut butter daVinci sugar free flavoring AND1 tablespoon of DaVinci sugar free caramel flavoring.

I mix with my hands and roll into balls similar to peanut butter cookie dough balls. You can eat them right away but i like mine cold. whole recipe fits in a snack size ziplock baggie!! Keep em in the fridge and use them as a quick snack! Makes 7 balls.

Im sure you can use almond butter instead but i havent tried that yet!

    Nutrition for entire recipe:
    Calories - 458
    Protein - 52
    Carbs - 34
    Fat - 15

    Nutrition for each ball:
    Calories - 65
    Pro - 7
    carb - 5
    Fat - 2
