My best advice is to eat what you want but in smaller portions. I know I have a tendency to fixate on foods that I tell myself that I can't have, so instead I started portioning out foods like cookies and chocolate that don't have much nutritional value and fitting those into my calories. If I don't have enough for a portion of one of my snack foods, I work out so I will have enough or just tell myself that I'll make room for it tomorrow. I think this could be much more helpful than just telling yourself that you can't eat something (which is what I assume the problem is from the text, please let me know if I've missed the meaning)0
