Ham question

I have some delicious spiral glazed ham leftover from Easter.
I accidentally left said leftovers in a bag in my purse for around three hours.
Is it worth the possible gastrointestinal distress to still eat it?
My stomach is saying yes, but my brain is saying no.

I think ham is gross anyway lol.
But if it was any kind of meat I'd probably chuck it. Unless your purse was in the car and it's like 20F out, then it's prolly ok0 -

Totally fine, being cured it is much better at resisting germs than raw meat. That's why they used to cure meat, to preserve it!0

Why would it be bad? We ate around 3:30 yesterday, didn't get home until after 7. Meat and other food didn't get into the fridge until then. Was it not cooked, does your family eat meat without cooking it? Isn't curing a form of cooking or something?0

People take ham sandwiches to school or work all the time for lunch and keep it without refrigeration for 4 to 5 hours regularly. Totally fine.0
