I guess my first question would be are you actually obsessing over this. I know your first response it going to be "no" but really truely think about it. It's easy to be in denial that we are harboring an obsession.

My second question is are you doubting your goal weight too? If so it never hurts to maintain for a bit, keep working on your fitness, and re-evaluate in a couple months. Who knows what kind of changes you will see in that time? Maybe it will give you and you family peace of mind. Maybe it will just give them time to get used to the new and smaller you so they can get behind your next goal.

what is wrong with having a goal to be lean? Why is that considered obsessing?

I think this person was only trying to feel out whether there's a reason the OP's family says she's obsessing, or whether they're just pulling the idea out of their collective butts (either could be a possibility, correct?). I don't think anyone has said so far that there's anything wrong with wanting to be lean - in fact, that's why a large percentage of us are on here.

I do log everything on here as well as I use a food scale. I didn't pick a food scale up until maybe November last year. So grateful that I did.

Just remember as you get closer to your goal weight it takes longer to shed pounds and inches. You have less to lose! You'll get there, but don't obsess over the scale or measurements. Your family is probably just starting to see you get stressed about it and that worries them. Take a step back, breath and realize that it's a process at this point :)

Thanks everyone for your very kind words! Perhaps I am obsessing with numbers, and forgetting to enjoy everything I have accomplished so far. Like NSV's. I can do full situps now very easily!! Never used to be able to before.

You may have just hit temporary bump in road...as you want to get leaner it gets more difficult because your body naturally wants to hang on to certain level of body fat ...

    Do you strength train?

You may benefit from cutting down to 20% body fat and then doing a bulk ...
