Hi, my name is Melanie,
Three years ago I used mfp and it worked well. I lost 35 lbs of the 50 I wanted to and then got cocky. I guess I figured I knew how many calories I was eating without having to take the time to log it. Well, I gained all 35 back, plus an extra 20. And to top it off, I've been diagnosed recently with type 2 diabetes.
I'm scared, my father in law died from complications of diabetes and I've watched multiple family members struggle, one even lost his legs. I need to turn this around. My husband is very supportive, but my willpower sucks.
I'm back because mfp worked for me before, I need to keep humble and take back my life!
Thanks for listening.
