Lifestyle Trackers (AKA Fitbit Charge HR)

Okay, so I have been very excited to wear my fitbit for the past two days. I have felt that it has been accurate with my heart rate during my jogs and has pretty accurately tracked by steps during the day.
But, for instance, it tells me that I have burned 2,000 calories today (with my walking and my regular BMR). How can I factor that into my weight loss goals? I am trying to eat between 1,300-1450 daily to lose steadily and slowly. Will this be enough to lose weight or should I increase my overall caloric burn per day?
Anyone wear something similar throughout the day and has it helped you lose weight?
