Thoughts of Slumber

As is custom, I've taken a stroll with my dogs and my cane, which is adorned with a gargoyle head, and have returned to my recliner to peruse Dante's Inferno with a glass of cognac. Quite delicious with cracked ice, and I also believe a stiff drink at night keeps illness away. The gargoyle head and my dogs keep random idiots away.

To be honest, it has not been an optimal day for Fernando Volay. The bakery was out of rhubarb tarts. It was also quite nippy outside for April.

Nevertheless, tomorrow is another day.
