I just LOVE nuts!

I know they are good for you in moderation but that's the problem for me! I could eat a whole can! I've started weighing them and only packing 1-2 oz but yea. Anyways the point of this post is I was wondering if there are any others crazy about nuts out there that have any recipes they would like to share? I have heard of some ppl eating them on salads and other stuff, so please help me expand my nut addiction! LOL :happy:

    I had a habit of eating 1/2 cups to 2 whole cups of pistachios in a day... to go along with eating at least a 100 calorie pack of almonds. I had to stop once i started to realize how much of my calorie budget was disappearing. I used to love eating walnuts (shelled) but haven't gotten any in a while. I put almonds in my plain greek yogurt. Idk why, but i like it. Nuts are great, but fat calories add up too quick! :-(

    Super quick. I packed 2oz today and then when I put it in my tracker my jaw hit the counter.. LOL 340 calories sooo quick! :-/ Guess I'll stick to one oz/day.

    yeah I had a brazil nut addiction... I could not stop eating them once I started and they have some serious calories in (especially when covered in dark chocolate h-hem)... now I buy nuts I don't really like as I am more sensible with those. I hate walnuts but they're really good for you so now I eat those with greek yogurt and fruit...

    I like pine nuts on soups and almonds in curries yum...

    lol, that was the reaction i had when looking through my diary a few months ago when i was just eating whatever i wanted, and just tracking everything. Eating those nuts always looked the worst because of the total calories compared to everything else i was eating. Crazy. Still good though!

    Nuts are awesome! Try mashing up a whole bunch of peanuts into a butter type consistency and eating that, I heard it's good.

    I love nuts! I even made my own nut mix out of all my favourite nuts. I'm not a vegan or even a vegetarian, but if you're interested in nut recipes, look up some raw vegan recipes. They definitely have lots of creative uses for nuts.
