Macros - how much sugar should you eat?

Hi all! I am only 9 days in on tracking macros and am constantly shocked that my sugar keeps "going over" the limit. I am not really sure how much sugar I should be eating...however it is mostly coming from things like sweet potatoes, natural PB, fruit, etc. I am 119 pounds, 5 feet 4 inches and really only want to lose a few pounds but want to tone up more. I don't want to look like a body builder, but i definitely want to look more fit and toned than i do now. Right now I have my macros around the following:
1450 calories a day (probably a little light but hubby and I are going away to Miami on Friday so being a little aggressive this week! )
Fat - 48g
Carbs - 163g
Protein - 91
I set fiber at 28 and sugar at 27.
Thoughts? This is all pretty new to me and I am already a really healthy eater...however I've been shocked at how much I overeat! no wonder I had gained a good 5 pounds this past year since I started staying home with my kids! I am already down 3 in 9 days! (again, a little aggressive for this trip and will probably bump it up once we are back.)
Thanks for any help!

Overall I'd say that looks like a pretty good macro break down. The sugar setting on MFP is based on recommendations for daily added sugar, so most people do exceed it every day, unless you're eating really low carb. As long as you are meeting your macros, it's not important in and of itself.
For your goals and size, 1450 is probably a little aggressive, but not exceptionally so. Based on what you've listed as goals though, I might recommend eating just a little more and starting a lifting program, if you're not doing one already. You're already at a very healthy weight for your height, and adding in the lifting will do more to accomplish the 'toning up' your looking to do.

Thank you! I have been lifting for years and while I know I look like I am in shape, I don't have the tone that I would really like...which I have to believe has been partly due to my diet. Even though I eat healthy 80% of the time, I think I have been overeating, especially on weekends when I tend to not care, then spend the week making up for it! I also realize now I have probably done too much cardio...I probably lift 2-3 days and do cardio 4 and it sounds like I should reverse that, and lift heaver. I am turning 39 next week so I am starting to feel like it's my last chance to try for that killer toned physique! Thanks again for the macros feedback!0
