GPS wearable that syncs with Runkeeper

Hello all.
I want to get a fitness wearable to track my runs through the Runkeeper app. Something simple to use just to track 5k Runs without having to carry my phone.
Most of them (Fitbit, Jawbone Up) do not have a GPS and just track movement.
After doing a little research, the one that popped up most frequently was the Garmin 220. I wanted to get a little input before I dropped that much money ($225 ish)
Does anyone have any suggestions on either the Garmin 220 or can recommend another one?

For running I don't think you can do better than Garmin. The 220 will give you everything a runner needs. If you are a data geek the 620 provides everything a running nerd could want, LOL, but it costs $200 more.0
