I've recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I know that it is not an excuse to not exercise - but some days my body just wanted to give out on me if I am having a flare up.

This will be my third attempt at losing weight in the past few years, and I don't want my diagnosis to hold me back!

I guess I am looking for 3 things:
1. what types of fitness and exercise do you do that doesn't make your fibro flare ups unmanageable?
2. What coping mechanisms do you use to get you through fibro flare ups during your weight loss journey?
3. Any other MFP users with fibromyalgia please add me!

This is a very very good post and I would like to see the answers too. My mother had fibromyalgia and from how she described it to me I feel that I may have it too. I do my work outs according to how I feel with pain....and it's not doms its other kind of pain but I do what I can to the best of my ability and never postpone because of this pain. Then I rest all I can and watch my foods. My workouts and diet come first.
