Hey everyone
I've been here before, but this time feels different. I've got a 3-week streak going and have been getting to the gym 4-6 times a week. I'm starting to see some small changes, and I'm really excited to keep going!
This is usually where I start slacking off, so I thought having a community here might help. I'd love to meet people with similar goals (50+ lbs to lose with a mind on health, not being skinny). I would love to link up with other gay ladies, too, since most of the weight I gained was when I was in a relationship, and it seems a lot of lesbians struggle with the same thing.
Feel free to add me! Looking forward to reaching our goals together!

Hello! I'm 26 going on 27. I have about, oh, a whole person to lose! Weight loss has been a roller coaster. Up 10, down 30, up 15, down 5, up 10.... Ugh. I'm honestly thinking of having surgery done.
Also, I don't think "relationship weight" has anything to do with being gay. I'm gay too, and in a long term relationship. Between my girlfriend and I, we are our own worse enemies! We do convenience. When one is dieting the other isn't. One person wants a treat and the other person indulges too! All types relationships go through these battles. Some more then others.0 -
Good call! Just speaking from experience regarding the gay thing. I know it happens to couples, but I see it a lot in the lesbian community and there have been recent studies about it, too. Will add you!0

I would love to connect. My wife and I talk about this all the time. We recently moved to Texas and see so many lesbian couples who are overweight. We want to be one less couple.0
