However, some vegetable aid in weight loss. RAW vegetable are the best since a lot of energy is expended in breaking them down. IN eating broccoli raw, you actually lose weight, however, once you cook it that is not the case. IF you can stand the taste of raw broccoli or celery, go for it.

I take chromium picolinate +green tea 800 mcg once a day...With moderate exercise I tend to lose a pound a week before I started on MFP. Currently losing around 3 pounds a week by watching my calorie intake and exercising. This supplement also helps lower blood sugar levels..I would suggest taking in the morning since a side effect is more frequent urination.0

Case in point: what about all the obese patients who take medical doses of fish oil for triglycerides? I was one of these patients and was actually gaining weight at the time. The effects are either short term or so insignificant that you can't notice them.0 -

My pet theory is that weight loss is stressful. Stressing your immune system makes you vulnerable to colds. Taking a multivitamin can help maintain your immune system to stay healthy so that you can keep up your exercise and stay on track. Could be placebo effect, I haven't done a double-blind trial to test my data.0

My brothers took fish oil back in the 80s to help them GAIN weight when they were gangly teenagers. (Seriously, one of them hit 6 feet before he got to 100 pounds. Looked like some kind of insect for a few months until he managed to catch up a bit.)0
