Trying hard to stay on track with a diet , I feel like I'm starving .

    Diets are hard to maintain and once you stop , you'll have a high probability of gaining your weight back..

    ^yes, I don't look at it as a diet. It's just how I eat now. For me, it's all about portion control and still allowing myself to eat whatever I want. You have to be careful of eating too little. The scale will move slower but it will be more sustainable. In the fight against real hunger, the hunger always wins so you must learn how to manage your day so you are never truly "starving". Hungry, yes, "starving, no".
    Do the research to find out how many calories/day you need to lose at a moderate pace. Stick with that number for a few weeks, then re evaluate.
