How does your heart rate effect the fat burned?
My target for fat burn is a heart rate of 139-168
How does working my heart to do intense cardio for a short burst then bringing in down then burst back up again effect fat burn?

lighter intensity workouts (most say zone 2) are the "fat burning" ones. If you are in a higher zone, you are consuming calories faster than the fat can release it, so you body goes to other sources.0 -
At high intensity you are burning glycogen. At low intensity you are burning mostly fat. Between the two you are burning both fat and glycogen in ratios proportional to the increasing intensity.
For weight loss none of that really matters.0
