Hello, I have been considering creating a capsule wardrobe, but I have only been able to find a few I like. I am looking for advice on how to get started. I would also like to know how having a capsule wardrobe has worked out for anyone who replies and suggestions on any blogs of vlogs I should look at for ideas. Thank you.

No, it is limiting your clothes, accessories, and footwear down to about 30 items (depending on who you listen to). A minimalism thing basically.

i was thinking you meant "time capsule" wardrobe.

Like "If you could wear clothes from any time in history for the rest of your life when would it be?"

Mine would definitely be the 90's. Comfy flannel, worn out jeans, everything a little baggy....unshaven....

yeah... that's my time capsule wardrobe.

lol I never understood the baggy clothes as a fashion style. If I could pick a clothing style from the past it would be hippie or mod.

I'm bored, this is what happens. Plus what I asked for is not really something important to my life. It is just something I am interested in and want to try for a while.

Why 30ish items though? I say just get rid of all of it. Keep a pair of britches, a t-shirt, undergarments, and shoes. THAT would be worth trying.

Check pinterest for ideas. Basic wardrobe should have a nice pants, blazer, jeans, cute skirt, cocktail dress or little black dress, shorts, cardigan, workout outfit and mix of tops (blouses, camis). Accessories should be dangly earring, conservative earring, ring, stmt necklace, delicate necklace, couple bangles and a watch. Sunglasses and scarves as well.

    Do undergarments count as well?

I don't think wearing 1 outfit everyday would be welcomed by others. I don't really want to lather up in my clothes to keep people from thinking I smell.

Lol ...I personally can not do it. I like having variety and doing laundry once a week ☺

Thank you for your suggestion. No blog I have read or vlog I have watched has counted undergarments. Some have counted shoes and accessories, others have not. The most amount of items I have seen is 37. It is more about outfits. A few count swimsuits as well.
