I didn't see this till now. Sorry about that. I only like steel cut oats. They have a completely different texture. They aren't mushy or slimy. I add 1 tbsp flax meal, 1/4 cup glazed walnuts, and 1/2 cup of fresh berries. They take longer to cook, so sometimes I make a few days' worth in advance. Then, I add a couple Tbsp water and microwave a couple minutes and it's ready. I think you'll find they taste so much better. And they are filling!0
