I just recently purchased kettle bells and I've never used them before but I want to add them into my regimen. Has anyone gotten great results by adding kettle bells to there workout routines.

  • A proper kB workout is one of the best toning and cardio workouts you can do. However, good technique is vital, and you need to use a good weight (8kg +) for starting out and work up to suit. Anything lighter than that you'll lift rather than swing, and you'll do yourself an injury. Find a good class and enjoy.

YES! I don't like doing cardio (as a general rule), but kettle bells interested me. I learned correct technique and styles of use. I keep a couple of them on the side of my couch and do swings and some lifts while watching tv for some extra cardio a few days a week. Plus, it makes any commercials fly by! They can be a great form of cardio dependent upon how you use them!

Yes, I love kettlebells! If you want to learn different exercises with proper technique you can search 'kettlebell' on www.bodybuilding.com and they have all sorts of videos where pros show you each technique. It can be really helpful if you're starting out teaching yourself at home!
