I have a question about adding your exercise and losing weight. I was wondering if you add the exercise to your diary I know it adds more calories but will this allow you to lose weight or should I not be adding my exercise and just eating less calories??

I just started this site today. I added my exercise for the day and the diary automatically adjusted my calorie intake for the day. It's worth adding the exercise as well as the food.0

Add the exercise ... and then it is up to you whether you want to eat the extra calories or not.
I may not eat the extra calories if I've just gone for a 30 min walk ... but I might eat approx. half of them if I've gone for a 2-hour bicycle ride.0 -
Ok thanks. I'm just so confused because I think my problem before was that I wasn't eating enough food if that makes sense.0

I try not to eat my exercise calories back, but when I do I only eat a few of them. MFP gives me more calories than I actually burn so I'm careful not to eat that much.0
