No Excuses...(well, maybe a one or two)

I do not deal well with change. Last August I had gotten into a really good routine of diet and exercise and was seeing slow, but steady results. Then I started my last semester of school. In the interest of graduating in December I took on a pretty heavy course load. I had a plan as far as fitting everything into my schedule: eating right, exercising, going to class, doing homework, and work. It seemed pretty foolproof...until it wasn't.

The good news is that I graduated from my program as planned in December (Yay!!), and I have been studying for a professional certification that I will test for this Saturday. I've also started a new schedule at work that is going to be a lot more conducive to having a life, so I have no excuse whatsoever for continuing the bad habits I've fallen back into.

I took the first step back in the right direction today with my daughter and my puppy and went for a nice, long walk after dinner. I'm honestly worn out, but it's a good tired :) I'm really looking forward to getting healthy again, so I'm back, and don't plan on going anywhere any time soon :)
