To ease myself into exercise in a comfortable environment got a stationary bike, it has metal parts on the handles to measure pulse and calorie burn.

I cycled for 26minutes at a pace that meant I didn't have to stop, so intervals of high intensity and periods of going slower, I also changed the resistance gradually down.

It said I cycled 7km and at that point my legs hurt I was out of breath etc so I stopped
The calorie reading for it was only 100 calories.

Is this accurate?

It is really disheartening to think I could eat 100cals in a second and not even feel different, but it takes 30mins of pain to get rid of it again, but if that is the truth I will just have to find a way to eat less and more efficient workout!

That seems about right, depending on your height/weight. Fitbit would credit me with 109 cal for a 7 km / 26 minute ride.
