This isn't my testing, just passing it along as a FWIW because I know there are lots of protein-powder users here.

    Not exactly been verified or any information to back this u. :neutral:

    Pretty much everything you eat is tested three times and the figures provided are the average.

    The summary is that a lot of the brands are testing at significantly lower protein levels than advertised on the tub. Samples were sent to a professional lab, so this isn't a meth cooker with time on his hands playing with powders in a trailer. :smiley:

    ON Gold, a widely used market leader, tested at 12% less protein than advertised.

    The reddit discussion is long - lots of comments - nobody has managed to blow up the numbers yet, and a couple of folks have referenced in other studies consistent with what these guys found.

    Good info, thank you for this. Now this makes me think of the whey isolate i take and what the true number is...

    It's just another reminder that even with "perfect" logging, all this **** has error bars on it.
