Measuring Body Fat

I've been calculating my body fat using measurements with measuring tape. Is this an OK method? It seems like it could be very inaccurate. is it better to use calipers? or is the electronic monitor just as good? I'd like to purchase something specifically for this purpose if measurements aren't ok.

Measuring for body fat CAN be just as accurate as calipers +|- 3%
The catch is you need to find the formula that works for you.
There are several diffrent methods body fat calculators use and the results vary.
I have tested this one againt being water weighted and it was right for me.

I would say try 3 diffrent sites and then compare the results agains being measure or even picture comparison.0 -
